Behind The Scenes of My Wedding

Most of my close friends know how addicted I am to weddings. I seldom miss the wedding part aired in Nona tv show and I bought my own Pengantin magazine even that time I was single! So I was kinda having 200% ideas on how my wedding should be, from the songs to the decorations. Overss tau..

But..kita hanya merancang, Allah swt yang menentukan..

When I was about to start my wedding plan - somewhere in the mid of April, I was assigned to an assignment in Cambodia for few weeks. Part of my focus and excitement for wedding plan was somehow affected. Erghh!!

After I came back, thought of concentrating on the wedding plan (chewah), I was informed that I need to join an assignment in Jakarta which when I came back to KL, I only have a week before the wedding.The feelings was super horrible so better I dont tell you!!!

Not really giving up, but later my mom and I decided to leave most of the things for the mak andam and the cook/tukang masak masa wedding to take charge daripada pening2 kepala and dapat migraine . In other words, saya redha and tawakal sajelah..
And well,,, some things happened during the wedding... SDFGTYH

1) The Wedding Cake

The first time I saw the cake was on the wedding day itself when me and husband were about to cut the cake. That night, after the reception while cleaning up the house, sisters told me there were actually pieces of cupcakes on top of the main cake, but the cook accidentally dropped them all few mins before the cake cutting session. Oh wellss... (Luckily I had no idea on how the cake looks like hehe)

(AFTER-Bila cupcakes dah jatuh terjelupuk ke dalam parit. Surprisingly me and husband tak perasan pun tingkat atas tu empty.. hehe)

2) Kompang team

Been admiring how the bunyi kompang can make one wedding so meriah. And yup, my kompang team didnt turn up during the wedding, claiming they forgot about the date. Oh wells...

3) Wedding songs

During my 1 week off before the wedding, Ive been spending my time downloading all the songs Ive been dreaming since forever to be played during my own wedding. Ada abang Anuar Zain, kak Sheila Majid, Camelia etc..And all I want the DJ to do is just play the songs and dont you dare to talk or have karaoke session during the wedding please. Things turned out the other way round. He didnt play the songs, he played his own 70s and pop yeh yeh playlist and he sang a song!! Erghh....

But to think about it all over again, i think the most important thing is my family and friends and all the guests are happy during the ceremony. So basically itu lah cerita behind the scenes of our day, which Ive forgiven them (especially DJ yg berkaraoke) but how can I forget hihi...

Moral of the story is, nothing is perfect, take things easy and remember..kita as manusia hanya merancang. Tapi apa2 pun Allah SWT yang menentukan :)

I'm Married!!

I cant believe it either.. Im now married to a gentleman who... erm.. jumped in this picture!! Hihi Love you husband!!

Mek's gonna get married!! :D

I guess the title explains all, that our Mek is getting married and we're so happy just like her!! :) And i hv to keep reminding myself the DON'Ts once she's a wife:

1) do not simply call her at 3am, like what i did just to tell her that Shaheizey Sam replied my tweet.
2) do not simply give ideas for her events as we did analyse which green (light/lighter/dark/darker) suits for her wedding!
3) no more PD/Seremban/Melaka trips that we planned for weeks (LOL) as if we are going to Paris/Tokyo!
4) no more overnights and late night gossips as we did since we were 13!

Oh my, before i start crying (of happiness) i shud stop continue with the list..

To my dearest Syara,

Congratulations for 100th time, have a wonderful and happy life ahead!!

M&M's Big Day

Knowing that another close friends of mine were getting married, I was totally happy n at the same time macam sayu sayu hati (kan Sarey kan?) Been knowing them very well since so many years back, I attended both receptions of...Man & Misya.

Sorry Misya, Ive forgotten to snap any pics of u when u were on that purple kebaya. But u look great and there were others said the same thing too!! Hehe =)) Since pics kau aku tak dpt snap, here's the pic of me, En. Partner n Zura who attended ur reception. (nak jugak upload pic diri sendiri =) )

N the very next day, I attended Man's reception. I fell in love with everything, from the card, pelamin, great food, marshmellows+chocs, meeting friends all over again, photo shoots...except for Man's shoes, because it was toooo cute for him haha.

I like the card.

Man, pls. Not this again. Hehe

Abg Manan!

Dont ask me exactly who Abg Manan is, because all I know is he's Aza's officemates, loves photographing, has largest cameras Ive ever seen and married with 2 kids. And whenever Aza was unable to meet us for lunch, her reason would be 'Ada discussion dgn Abg Manan.' or 'Nak pi shopping dgn anak2 Abg Manan.' Ok.

Usually I wont put someone's name as my entry title unless u're my friends at heart. But since all these pictures are Abg Manan's, and so.. err.. it's..

Surprisingly, i lovee all these model-cannotbe pics.

When one crap idea popped in my head..

Me : Aza, let's try your mannequin pose. U as the mannequin, so pi blakang cermin tu.

Aza : Ok. Cool.Boring.

But later.. me and Karina came up with stupidest idea..

(sometimes I do think, are we really 25?)And we got this..

Tried dozen times to buat2 muka like takut ada hantu kat belakang. We thought it was easy, but hell no. When all in front line berjaya dgn the takut expression, kt blakang pulak wasnt ready. So none were perfect. Haha. But Zai, u were grrreat!
We blew off the imaginary candles on Aza's birthday cake.
Thank God, we still manage to act our age.
And you really think it's easy to make that heart shape thing?
Not really people, coz we took nearly 5 mins to teach Kar how to do it.
Whenever people ask me how's Aza's day, I dunno how to say it in words. So I upload the pics here. But a word to describe it is HAPPY!! Thanks for the pics (especially yg candid saya ni wpun mcm mama juwie, saya suka juga), and really, pictures speak thounsand words!

Aza's Engagement

Aza started off by leaving a note on his car with her phone number. (Aza, dont kill me for this) Luckily, he called back and since then, they are the sweetest couple (wtf. come on Dina. Pls continue typing.) in UitM. And last weekend, on her birthday, they got engaged, finally. Hahaha.
Aza n Hazree, congratulations on your engagement!

Oh, rileks..rileks..Porche (is the spelling correct?) ni bukan hantaran from Hazree. Hazree bg semua dalam dulang. Hehe. This is K.Shima's. Kami semua yang jakun terus nak pose at her car.

So to all yg tak pernah tgk me driving, exclusively, Dina in a white Porche. All this while, Ive been dreaming of white Proton Savvy, that day, my dream almost come true, I tried a WHITE Porche instead. haha

To Kak Shima, thank you v much. Remember, STRATEGY! HAHA

To Aza-Si-Tunangan-Orang (ahahah), congratulations again n happy birthday!

Nisa's Day

Last Friday wasn’t like any other normal Friday. I reached 18th floor and everyone was staring, I knew.
As early as 8.30 am, I got ‘Merah kak?’ An hour after that ‘Ada kerja kawen ke?’ then ‘You jadi pengapit ker?’ ‘Wah..nanti org confuse siapa nak nikah ni.’ Things were getting worse everytime I walked with Farhana to 4th floor. I think I knew why...
On a casual Friday, when everyone was wearing t-shirts and pants, we were on a shocking pink and black kebaya with shining brooches. Ok.

We were not into that kind of attention wokayy. We were in those for our NISA yang bernikah di petang Friday yg aman damai itu! Puan Nisa, CONGRATULATIONS!
And these 3 hot ladies began the journey to Seremban immediately after work. Oh yup, not forgetting Sashi! Thanks ya for showing us the way n informed us that no road blocks on highway and to take the ticket first for the Plus highway and pay on the exit. Hahaha

We stucked in traffic jam for hours..

So Saras couldn’t do anything but continue driving..
